Hey, I'm

15 years helping good causes grow. I run a youth choir, teach grad students, and consult with nonprofits. Equal parts strategic thinker and reality TV enthusiast.

The short version (there's also a long version).

I've spent most of my career in the space where passion meets operations. It's messy, rewarding, and never boring.

Right now, I'm the Executive Director of Pacific Youth Choir, a 200-student organization in its 23rd season serving 114 schools across the Portland metro area. More than half our singers receive tuition assistance, which is the part of the work that gets me out of bed in the morning.

I also teach at the University of Portland's business school, where I get to help the next generation of leaders think strategically about marketing, leadership, and how to build organizations that don't burn people out in the process.

On the consulting side, I work with nonprofits who are stuck between their big mission and the daily grind of keeping things running. I've been there. I get it. And I've built practical systems that actually work for teams of one or two, not just organizations with full development departments.

At home, it's me, my husband Daniel, and our spaniel mix Rosie, who has strong opinions about walk schedules and very little respect for personal space. We're based in Portland, Oregon, where I split my time between all of the above and watching more reality TV than any grown adult probably should.
